Role summary: An industrial company seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to provide accurate and data-based information on company’s profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Qualification summary: The ideal candidate should be able to research and analyze financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions, write reports and monitor financial movements.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial forecasts and related analysis reports as needed to support target achievement.
  • The prospective financial statements that present the expected financial position, results of operations, and cash flows under different conditions should be prepared as per assumptions and information gathered across various departments within the company including understanding the critical factors affecting the business and extensive external research.
  • Prepare financial models and feasibility reports to evaluate new projects.
  • The output of the financial models prepared would be used for performing financial analysis, preparing reports and ultimately, decision by the management about: Making acquisitions, Growing the business organically, Capital allocation & Business valuation.
  • Periodic performance analysis of the Group, its Joint Ventures/Associates and submission of financial reports with key quantitative & statistical analysis to the Board on regular basis.
  • Based on the Monthly Management financials of the Group, its Subsidiaries, Joint Ventures & Associates, perform necessary financial analysis and report
  • Material variances from Budget
  • Unusual / extraordinary items
  • Deviations from directions of the Board
  • Adherence to Bank Covenants etc.
  • Assist the Board of Directors on business dealings, market survey and review of new business agreements.
  • Provide Analysis reports on internal & external information to facilitate executive-level decision making.
  • Prepare presentations / documents as and when required by the Board of Directors and Shareholders for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Procure and prepare analytical reports on financial information on peer companies & industry on a regular basis.
  • Prepare final accounts and assist during external audit review.
  • Responsible for preparing final accounts of several related operations and act as the primary point of contact during its annual audit.
  • Adapt to new technologies and possess expertise with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
  • Deliver innovative business solutions based upon sound professional knowledge.

Skills required: Financial modeling, Excel, Data analysis

Nice to have: CFA certification
